No I do not think it is creul because i see it there in the sea or the lake for a reason. You dont see human in the sea or the lake all day. No matter what poeple are going to eat fish in the sea or lake.No matter what I think I dont see a huge problem with people killing and eating it. I love some good fish some times. I think fishing can be cruel and at the same time its not.The reason I do is because think of all the marine animals such as sharks, dolphins,shrimp,and turtles.many animals die because of the big nets and hook can get the unwanted target,and the people just throw them back to let them bleed to death and die.I also think it is not cruel too.
I think that fishing is wrong.Why?Just like a human it has fellings and painjust like we do. Everyday millions uf fish die, because of fisherman capture and kill them. You can see people going into rasteronts and eat fish all the time, and think its ok to eat somthing that was at one point living and breathing and had a family.

To me fish are killed every year. They use small boats to catch fish. Now they use ships big as a football field. So now fish are dieing 5 times faster. In the 2040's, they say fish will be gone and the oceans will be fishless.

Since I read the article I realized that sport fishing hurts the fish. Commercial Fishing is much crueler though, because they hurt and kill billions of fish everyday and the animals that get caught up in the net like: dolphins, whales, sharks, and sea turtles also get hurt too. I think fishing is not cruel because there are so many of them. They hatch so many at one time that we could fish for a year. There would still be a lot of fish because they hatch so many at one time. We face many dangers to in our life like crime, animal danger, and weather. If the stock market ever dropped again people would not be able to survive because they want catch a fish. If you only keep some every now-and then it doesnt hurt the fish population. As long as you catch and realease it wont effect the population. the sores that they get from the hooks will go away. The reason some of the fish in the ocean are gone is from other fish eating them. But I think they need to stop using nets, that does kill the fish for no reason. That might effect the population.
My opinion of catching fish is not any good. It shouldn't stop but at least catch less fish. What I think of the whales and dolphins getting caught in the net that should stop it's not right to let an animal die just because of that.

I personally think fishing is cruel. Once all the fish is wiped out the food chain will collapse and animals such as polar bears and birds will go bazar and start eating other species. Most of every catch of shrip is cault 85% gets away.alot of animals die because of them getting eating or damage and bleed out. fishing could be cruel if you just hook it in the mouth and tortre it like let it sit there and die ,but no fishing is not cruel. that is my anwser for the articl.

I wish Fisher's would stop being so cruel to these poor sea animal's who are dieing everyday by getting caught in nets. They need to learn that fish,whale's dolphins and all other kind of fish are just like us. They don't care about anything but themselve's. We do not want them to become exstinct and for the ocean to have no sea creatures at all.

i think it depends on who you are. personaly i don't have an opinion because i like fishing but, i guess it could be a little cruel.i think it is i little gross because of the blood and how they have never taken a bath but to me it is very fun and blood exzilenating! i cant make an opinion a fact but i can state what i think and feel. some people think and feel different then me but this is my opinion.

I personally think that fishing is cruel because animals and other creatures need fish way more than we do. I think that we should try to give up eating fish. It't not like it's going to hurt anyone; it can hurt the other animals that feed on fish. Some people may not know this but it hurts fish to get hooked in the mouth! Wouldn't it hurt you to get hooked with a hook in the mouth? If you really think about it isn't it nasty to gut fish? I think it is. If people keep fishing like they are today they may go extinct. I mean it is nice to have a hobby like this but it hurts the fish and you hurt nature!!

I think fishing billions of fish every day hurts ocean life.I think that people should try making fish farms and at least try to help stop billions of fish from being killed everyday.The way fish are killed is cruel.My opinion is that if people want to eat fish then they should raise them themselves.In my opinion some people just don't care anymore.They think that animals can't have feelings because their not human.What if they we a fish and they were human and they came and caught us?We wouldn't be happy about it.We would be in pain.So why do it to fish?

We should consider this to other animals humans eat every day too. People also fish as a sport, If you do that you should consider to let the fish go back into the water. Since I read the article I realized that sport fishing hurts the fish. Commercial Fishing is much crueler though, because they hurt and kill billions of fish everyday and the animals that get caught up in the net like: dolphins, whales, sharks, and sea turtles also get hurt too. When they are caught in the net, they are thrown overboard and they literally bleed to death in the water. The article is a fact and an opinion. I feel this way about the subject because in the article the author who wrote said things like: "I think..." which is why I think some of the article was an opinion.

ReplyDeleteIf the stock market ever dropped again people would not be able to survive because they want catch a fish. If you only keep some every now-and then it doesnt hurt the fish population. As long as you catch and realease it wont effect the population. the sores that they get from the hooks will go away. The reason some of the fish in the ocean are gone is from other fish eating them. But I think they need to stop using nets, that does kill the fish for no reason. That might effect the population.
My opinion of catching fish is not any good. It shouldn't stop but at least catch less fish. What I think of the whales and dolphins getting caught in the net that should stop it's not right to let an animal die just because of that.

I think we dont need to catch so many fish because that is a waste of some fish. I like to go fishing with my Daddy. I think that its okay to catch fish. I dont realy see anything wrong with fishing. Fishing is cruel, people dont need to just catch the fish for the fun of it or catch them so they can stisfie there hunger.I mean if you are stranded on an island with nothing to eat but fish you have to catch, then yeah, i get eating them in that problem.I but see your not stranded on an island most og the time you are sitting there dinning on a fish in a restraunt,and the fish has done nothing to you.Fish fill the same hurt me do so imagine a hook going into your own skin and some person you don't know is going to eat you or is going to kill you for there business.

This artical really spoke to me about what comercal fishing is doing to the enviorment. It make sme feel sad for those fish who get killed eneryday.Espetialy, those of dolphins and sharks who are not the main target. Personaly I don't like the idea of comercal fishing, but I have to admit that I still think it is still ok to have a fun day out on the lake with your dad. Our family always throws them back, and for the most part I don't eat fish.

I think that the sport of fishing is very cruel because when fish get hurt its just like when we get hurt but worse. Fish also have a life to and they would also like to live their entire life just like most of us do. The reason I believe that others shouldn't fish for fish is because they probably don't want to have a hole in their lip,eye,or nowhere else on their body just like we don't want a hook in us. The oil spill that happend a few months ago are killing them enough so we dont need to fish for a while, even after the oil has been cleaned up. Also while the fishermen are throghing there rods, rils, and nets out birds, and other anmials are getting caught up in them and drounding.

In fact it is an accurate hypothosis that even catching fish (yet not killing them) and saling them at major retail stores and pet stores cause pain, shor life span, sometimes hunger, loneliness, and take away their freedom. Most major fishing is taking place at beaches do to the "sea theme." Well lets see how they feel when the sea life is gone. The ocean want be as enjoyable, aquariums will shut down, and no more seafood restraunts!!! I really think they should cut down on the fishing. In my opion they don't have to completely quite fishing because who doesn't like a good fish dinner every once and a while? And who doesn't like fishing with there friends and or family every once in a while? But as I said they shouldn't send thousands of fisihing ships out there. Just take it easy on the fishing. I personally think that fishing is cruel sometimes and sometimes it isn't. I think it is cruel because it hurts the animals the same way it hurts us when something is close to killing us. I also think that animals are no diffrent than we are because they deserve a life just like we do. God put both animals and people on this planet, but no one said that only the people are allowed to survive. Thats how i think fishing is cruel to animals. I also think it isn't cruel because the bible says that god put the animals on the planet for us to eat when we start to starve. Ex: when someone is at home and they have had no food for one week and they have no other choice, then you would have to.
